Best Friends

Let’s go back to when I was in preschool. That would make me like 3 or 4 (I started early). We moved into the house I currently live in, and I made a friend. My neighbor, Julia. She because my best friend. We did everything together, went everywhere together, thought the same thoughts, and were just as close as anyone could be. We would fight, then 5 minutes later, call and say sorry. Then I was around the age of 9 and she was like 10. Her mom decided that I was holding her back from her full potential and decided that I couldn’t play with Julia anymore. I would knock up for her, and her mom would say she couldn’t come out, and make up some excuse. Even though I was no longer allowed to play with Julia, when she needed something I was there. When she broke her ankle and couldn’t walk, I was there every day to make sure she was okay. We ended up going to different schools and I saw her less and less as she made new friends. During high school, when she would see me, she always said hi to me and tried to talk to me. When she was able to drive, she would offer to give me rides and we would talk and laugh just like we used to. But, with her mom holding us apart we were never able to become as close as we used to be. 3rd grade came along and I met this girl named Sam. We then became best friends. We played sports together, I always went over her house, she was always over my house. We were inseparable. The end of 4th grade came along and her parents decided they wanted to move into a bigger house, a house which was about 30 minutes away from mine. I didn’t get to see her as often but we were still best friends. I went to her house and she came to my house as much as possible but it only happened a few times. As time went on, we saw each other less and less. She made new friends and her school and I made new friends at mine. 6th grade came around and I met this girl named Alyssa. We became best friends, did everything together and we’re always together. I became careful not to get too attached with a best friend as I had lost my previous 2. Alyssa knew that and she stayed my best friend and promised she wouldn’t leave. We went the 3 years in middle school, and the 4 years in high school as best friends. She really was my best friend and she had been around the longest. graduating got my thinking a bit. A lot of the time when you graduate, you don’t see the people you were friends with in high school anymore. I have learned that it’s true most of the time. I do not see almost any of the friends I went to high school with now and it’s only been 2 and a half months. I did become closer with some of the people who I did not really talk to in high school. But most of all, I am still best friends with Alyssa. She has started college already, met new people, made some friends, and she is an hour and a half away. Though technically she did leave, I still talk to her everyday and go and see her when I can. When she comes home, she always comes right to my house, and we are still the best of friends. She just got a laptop and has a webcam so we now oovoo so we still see each other everyday as well. My mom thinks she is physic sometimes and said that me and Alyssa will be friends forever, when we grow up, when we have kids, when we go on and do whatever we do with our life, we will always be friends. And I do hope my mom is right because I honestly don’t know what I would do without my best friend. I am not big into the whole friend making thing, I don’t do the whole friend making thing. I don’t like many people and many people don’t like me (I’m too forward or crap). But it is what it is, and I can bet when I start college in 20 days, I might make some new friends and Alyssa and I will still be best friends.
I added some new things to the blog so you don’t think I haven’t been doing anything. I told you in the last blog that I had some stock photos. Well I put a few of them up. There are actually only 16 for now (the ones I took on my trip). I have a bunch more that I have to go threw and add up to the site. I am going to add some new brushes up, as I told you I would do, and I have a few icons I will be adding up as well. I am still looking for 3 more affiliates
